to your wish list?
Storyline:
Becky (Rachel McAdams) is a hard-working morning TV show producer, or at least she was until she got fired. Desperate to get a job, she finally gets an interview with Jerry (Jeff Goldblum) - who is desperate to hire a producer for the struggling show "Daybreak". Becky accepts the job and it proves to be more difficult than even she might be able to handle. She has to fire the sexist co-host, then try to convince egotistical news reporter, Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford), to take the job, and then try and get him to actually do the job, properly. And she has to do this while falling for handsome Adam (Patrick Wilson), and trying to save the show from plummeting ratings. Will Becky be able to hold on to her dream job and her sanity?

Coming out just before the launch of the big "Seasonal" films, and in the throws of other more anticipated and well promoted films, Morning Glory gets lost in the shuffle. They could have promoted some of the funnier scenes better to draw us in, as the current trailers don't do the movie justice. But I enjoyed this movie, and laughed my A** off mid stream (after a rather slow start) as the film started to take off. I do think it could have been developed a bit further and given a little more attention to the character development of Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton's roles...but all in all...this movie is fun. Did I mention I laughed my A** off mid film?? Honestly I haven't laughed that hard in a while and I had to stop to catch my breath and wipe the tears of laughter for a few of the scenes. Those scenes alone made the movie well worth while to me!

I actually really enjoyed this movie. It didn't get all that great of a review by many but I thought it was funny, entertaining, and enjoyable. The actors were all great. Hey, if a movie can make you laugh and make you forget the horrible state of our economy, what's there not to like? A nice way to spend a couple hours being entertained.

Absolutely the funniest movie of this genre I've seen in years. I laughed out loud way more often than I did for "It's Complicated" and it was a very good funny movie too.

I knew I'd love this movie because of it's combo of celebs, but it exceeded my expectations. It had so many funny lines that had the entire theater of guys and girls laughing out loud. Rachel's character and what she does with the show are very inspiring, and Rachel's love interest is super cute (could have done with more of him). Overall, great movie.
